Sum of x and y - DS

The sum of positive integers x and y is 77. What is the value of xy?

(2) x and y have the same tens digit.

(1) Suf: Nos dicen que x + y = 77 y que x = y + 1, dos ecuaciones con dos incógnitas.

(2)Suf: Los dos positivos, suman 77, y tienen el mismo dígito en las decenas, así que solo pueden ser 38 y 39 o 39 y 38, y para ambos el producto es el mismo.
