Today, we live in a world which is continually evolving – a «nanosecond culture» -in which hyper-competition has become a global phenomenon. We also have to consider the human aspect of our world-the demographics of an aging population in the developed world vis-a-vis a young population in the developing world. The final aspect to consider is the evolution of social media, the so-called «Facebook Generation». In this new economy, what are the entrepreneurial opportunities that can be found.

In this session, Professor Jain will focus on types of new and innovative entrepreneurial ventures that would be appropriate in the current climate of economic and social structural changes. Our expectation is to have a dialogue around the issues pertinent to entrepreneurship and innovative practices in the new economies.
