The reason much refrigerated food spoils is that it ends up out of sight at the back of the shelf. So why not have round shelves that rotate? Because such rotating shelves would have just the same sort of drawback, since things would fall off the shelves’ edges into the rear corners.

(A) Puesto que asume que se los alimentos se caeran por las esquinas, está asumiendo que la nevera no es cilíndrica (no tiene esquinas). Correcto.
(B) No se menciona que el problema sea la opacidad de la puerta.
(C) En ningún momento se dice que el problema sea otro que el hecho de que la comida no sea visible.
(D) No se menciona en el texto.
(E) No tiene relación directa.
