Buenas tardes:

Muy probablemente, en algún momento todos hemos escuchado un discurso o visto un vídeo que nos ha dejado 'tocados' y reflexivos. Abro este post con la finalidad de que los compartamos.

Empiezo yo con uno que probablemente ya conozcáis:

Los de Stanford suelen ser muy buenos. El año que estuve yo por allí (2015) lo dio un periodista que estuvo destinado en la guerra y estuvo muy bien también. Entiendo que por youtube están todos.

Luego si tengo tiempo lo busco y lo subo.

A mi me encanta este de Roosvelt llamado Citizenship in a Republic, y más concretamente el extracto The Man in the Arena:

It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.

En general los cómics de esta página están muy chulos, y las citas que recogen están muy, muy bien escogidas. También figura, por cierto, el de Steve Jobs del principio!

Me parece un tema muy interesante. No voy a compartir grandes discursos que te cambian la vida pero ahí va mi granito de arena.

Comienzo con una de las charlas TED más conocidas en las que el experto en creatividad Sir Ken Robinson habla sobre como la educación que estamos recibiendo limita el desarrollo de nuestra creatividad. Me hizo reflexionar. Es fácil observar como muchas personas que han triunfado por su creatividad se alejaron de las rutas tradicionales de educación.
